WHAT TO EXPECT FROM US?
We will focus on:
- Minimising the number of clicks to get the job done. You will recognise the importance of this after you start to use LABA.
- Minimising data entry to save time and avoid mistakes. No data is entered twice.
- Automation of everything that can possibly be automated: you might be surprised what can be done, and fewer human interactions usually equals fewer problems.
- Switching jobs to your clients when possible. Reports, for example, can be made by your clients instead of your employees. Clients can produce them to suit their needs and timescales. The variety of your reports might be wide but finite. As a benefit, your employees can dedicate themselves to more complex tasks and let machines do the job they are made for.
The specifications for new functionalities must be agreed upon, along with the deadline. Defining specifications is then our task.
After agreeing on the specifications, we start development. Your LABA build will be completed within an agreed timescale.
Specifications for your LABA have been defined, so what now?
The price of the development depends on the number of working hours we need to deliver the solution.
To start development, you should, understandably, become our client. Therefore, a licence payment is required. However, should you want to buy more licences before development, you only need to pay for one upfront. After development, irrespective of the development price, your licence price will remain unchanged if you decide to buy more than one subsequently.
You have the licence what happens now?
Your basic LABA build will be created without any functionalities you don’t need and uploaded to a development site via which you can follow the development process.
It is better to only check the progress upon our invitation; otherwise you might encounter a semi-functional interface, experiments and other things that commonly appear during the development process.
You will be invited when we have something to show and need to verify how you like it, what to correct and how to correct it.
Once you are satisfied with the developed solution based on the agreed specifications, the development should be paid.
Your custom LABA build is done, so how do you start using it?
If you own a permanent licence, there are two options:
- It can be hosted on our server, situated in the most appropriate geographical location for your company to avoid performance penalties. In this case, all responsibility for security, functioning and backups is ours.
- You may host LABA on your server if you prefer, but responsibility regarding backups, security and overall server functioning will be the responsibility of your IT staff.
It is your build. In the end, once the development fee and the licence are paid in full, you won’t have any additional costs if you host LABA on your server.
If you are a big company and somebody else wants the same LABA build we delivered to you, only the licence price will be paid.
Don’t worry (take 2)
Your build won’t be shown or sold to anyone, including other people from your institution, without explicit written permission from the person who oversees the whole process.
You don’t have to subscribe to any support model in our offer. For user management alone you will never be charged.
