Biobanking

Comply with data protection regulations in patient sample management. Biobanking LIMS can use barcodes, making sample labelling, search and access simple. Track samples by patient. With information stored on location and number of stored vials, planning your experiments is a breeze.

Navigating our Biobanking module is easy, with simple access to patient data, consent forms and clinical samples and suitable for all types of clinical material: body fluids, tissues, isolated gDNA, RNA, and paraffin-embedded tissues. AND it’s connected to our handy virtual storage! So you can easily track stored samples and control their number and location.

What you get

Fine-tuning of user rights ensures controlled access to patient data. Barcodes are available to manage patient samples, and you can upload patient consent – so our biobanking fully complies with GDPR and FDA 21 CSF Part 11.

LABA biobanking is structured in three parent-child connected parts. The first is the patient registry which holds patient contact and general data and where you can add an unlimited number of tissues, so it’s always possible to check the history of all tissues obtained from a patient. You can, though, also access tissues in the second part, a clinical sample repository to which diagnosis details can be added as well as adding cell lines and isolated DNA and RNA to a sample. Once again, isolates can be accessed directly from the third part. This parent-child structure makes it easy to access and manage different sections of the biobank.

Finally, our virtual storage tracks locations of stored clinical samples. Easily detect stored material, find important details, assign quantity and/or expiry alarms and so maintain full control over valuable samples.
